The Stellar Story
Like a sunflower turns to the sun day after day, The Stellar Community was born from a deep passion for fostering growth, self-understanding, and community support. At its heart lies a belief in the right of every individual to understand themselves, live a life that is challenging but minimally traumatic, and have a supportive community to help them navigate life’s complexities—because no one can get through it alone. When I couldn’t find a community that embodied all these values simultaneously, I decided to be the change I wanted to see and build it myself.
This vision grew out of the journey of a Texas educator, whose lifelong dream of teaching was met with challenges that prevented meaningful impact. Determined to break through these barriers, I merged my teaching expertise with licensed therapeutic services, creating Stellar Life Therapy and Stellar Academy—a unique approach designed to meet the complex and evolving needs of individuals, couples, and families.
Inspired by the resilience instilled in me through my upbringing in a strong Air Force family, I’ve carried forward the values of hard work, perseverance, and self-belief. Since 2019, The Stellar Community has blossomed from an idea into a dynamic and actionable reality. Like a sunflower reaching toward the sun, this organization has grown steadily, with various services and concepts tested over the years to form the holistic and innovative center you see today.
With the unwavering support of my inner circle and a clear vision for the future, The Stellar Community stands ready to guide individuals, couples, and families toward understanding themselves, embracing their challenges, and finding the light to thrive together.
Hello Hello! I'm Raya- Associate Therapist, Lead Educator, and Founder of both Stellar Life Therapy and Stellar Academy. I am BEYOND excited to provide my services to the community! So, to get a better sense of who I am and the type of work I do, I encourage you to continue reading.
At my core, I'm passionate about supporting people in their journey to obtaining a stellar life. To me, that means being able to handle anything life throws at you with grace and feeling like you are living out your purpose. My background in K-12 Education and Marriage and Family Therapy allows me to uniquely blend two areas (learning and emotional wellness) that are naturally intertwined and require intentional work and focus to maintain. I believe that when we nurture both the mind and heart, real transformation happens.
What drives me is the opportunity to help others find calm moments to start the necessary work required to achieve true peace. In today’s fast-paced world, life can feel overwhelming. I love creating a safe space for people to slow down, take a breath, and truly process what’s happening before continuing. That is the key to uncovering the techniques and strategies that will guide you toward the life you want to live. Whether looking for therapeutic or academic support, I'm here to walk alongside you on this journey, helping you embrace each step with clarity and confidence.

Future Vision
The next five years will mark a period of incredible growth for Stellar Life Therapy. Starting from in-home services, we aim to expand into a dedicated storefront location while hiring additional therapeutic and academic professionals to serve more people. Simultaneously, Stellar Academy will grow from a preschool to a chartered K-5 elementary school, laying the foundation for an eventual K-12 school system.
Our long-term vision is to create a thriving community where individuals can access resources that support their growth in all areas of life. This includes therapy centers, a full K-12 school system, and a community center similar to the YMCA, offering holistic support for all ages and stages of life.
Right now, we recognize that our services may not yet be accessible to everyone who needs them most. By focusing on building a sustainable foundation, we aim to become a resource that is both impactful and accessible to the broader community for years to come.
